STAB ME

All in all life learns to deal,
whatever might go down the only way
to walk will only be a bit farther up.

Steps that I take are steps I take
by myself.
My wings are broken and I'm just learning
how to run.

So, whatever might come to meet me
I'll always know where to run.
If it were the other way around
instead of death chasing me to the ground.

A pleasure to stabbed in the back,
the pain is deadlier,
but goes away quicker then in the heart.

A broken heart can always be mended
by another.
It's just that much easier to break it
once more.

So, whatever comes looking for me
I'll always know where to hide,
So, instead of death looking for me
I find myself looking for it.

So, whatever life gives me back,
   I'll always know,
that whatever I can do I can give
   it's life back.

Stab me in the back or in the heart,
I've been broken before,
It's easy for me to be broken again.
